Day Camp is for Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Each day of Day Camp will swim, play games, make a craft, learn scouting skills and have fun. This registration offers a non-refundable deposit that will hold your spot in the camp. All payments must be made in full by June 4th, 2024.

Registration information....PLEASE READ FIRST!!!!

Registration is set up to be done Individually or by Pack.  Council highly suggests registering as a Pack so that you can track your scouts and den walkers.  You can pay by e-check or credit card online.  

UNITS THAT ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER ONLINE MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE DEPARTMENT AT 210-341-8611 TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION OF THE UNIT. 

Please collect the following information before registering:

Cub Scout: t-shirt size, cub scout rank while at camp.

DEN WALKERS: Registration information - Mailing address, birth date, full legal name (required information for a background check), what days willing to volunteer.  No free shirts will be given to adults, if you would like a Day Camp T-shirt to wear, please order one during registration ($12-$14)

Each Pack must provide one (1) walking den leader for the week for up to 5 scouts registered. (Can be rotating parents). CLARIFICATION: 1 TO 5 SCOUTS = 1 WALKING DEN LEADER, 6 TO 10 SCOUTS = 2 WALKING DEN LEADERS, ETC. 

Den Walker Training  - The Camp Director will notify you of these required trainings once the dates are set. 

Tigers: (those that just graduated kindergarten) must have a Tiger Parent present every day at camp. Tiger Parents must register as a Walking Den Leader and note that they are a Tiger Parent when prompted during registration.

Volunteer Staff Support - This is for volunteers who have been selected to work a program station.  Each volunteer staff member may receive one free t-shirt for working the week and one free scout (family member).You will need to contact the Outdoor Adventure Department to register the scout at no charge (adventure@alamoareabsa.org or 210-341-8611)

DEN CHIEFS: must be under the supervision of a Scouts BSA Troop Leader, a Cub Scout Pack Leader or a Parent or Guardian who is a registered adult on-site. Den Chiefs are required to submit a completed health form and a copy of their Den Chief training certification in order to participate as a Den Chief.  Den Chiefs may purchase an adult sized t-shirt during registration if they would like a shirt to wear at camp, no free shirts will be given.

Me Toos: Me Too's are not offered at this camp.

CAMPERSHIPS: Scholarships known as "Camperships" are available upon request and approval. Camperships can assist with up to 50% of the early bird rate for Scouts that are registered in Alamo Area Council Units. More information about the application process and the link to apply can be found here: https://www.alamoareabsa.org/camping/camperships/ Campership applications need to be received no later than April 30th for this camp in order to be processed and allow for registration.  Please note that date and ensure all the families in your unit are given the opportunity to apply if they require assistance.
