Thank you for signing up for Wilderness Remote First Aid. This is a 1.5 day course designed for older scouts and leaders planning high adventure camp outs or planning to attend a high adventure program.
This course runs 5pm to 10pm on Friday night and 8am to 6pm on Saturday at the OA Building on McGimsey Scout Park. Please enter the park through the Ranger House gate which is the gate located at the bottom of the hill past the camp tepees on Wedgewood Drive. As you come into the camp, the OA building is the gray building just after the Ranger House on the right.
A cold supper, breakfast, and lunch will be provided during the course. Coffee and soda will also be provided.
Uniforms are NOT required for this event. Please dress in comfortable, Scout-appropriate clothing.
Camping is NOT required for this event. Those who are not in the local area are welcome to camp on property but will need to make arrangements by emailing adventure@alamoareascouting.org prior to the event.
