The American Red Cross CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies. The courses in this program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Certification in Adult CPR/AED is required to enter Wilderness and Remote First Aid training.

Welcome to CPR/AED training!

Location:  Training will be held at the OA building located across the road from the McGimsey House at McGimsey Scout Park. Participants are welcome to enter through either the gate by the tepees or the gate at the Ranger house.

Time: Class begins at 5:30pm and may run till 10pm depending on the number of participants.

Notes:  No food is provided with this training. Please bring your own water bottle and snacks. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably in Scout appropriate clothing for this training.
