To attend the National Jamboree in AAC, a Scout or Venturer must:
Be a currently registered member of Scouting America in a Scout Troop or Venturing Crew:
- If attending as a Scout, you must be at least 12 years of age and no older than 17 years of age.
- If attending as a member of a Venturing Crew a Scout must be at least 13 years old and have completed the 8th grade or is age 14 and not yet 21 years of age.
To attend the National Jamboree in AAC, an adult must:
- Be a currently registered member of Scouting America
- Be no less than 21 years of age (note: ASMs ages 18-20 are encouraged to register for and participate as a member of the Alamo Area Council's Venturing Crew).
- If you are 21+ please submit an application to jamboree@alamoareascouting.org and be selected by the Alamo Area Council to be a part of the Council Contingent Leadership. We only NEED a 21+ Female for the unit leader position on the AAC Girl Troop.
THIS REGISTRATION IS OPEN TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SELECT THE TROOP OR CREW OPTION DURING REGISTRATION TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT.
THE ALAMO AREA COUNCIL HAS RESERVED 1 HALF TROOP FOR BOYS AND 1 HALF TROOP FOR GIRLS (18 YOUTH EACH AND 2 ADULTS EACH). 1 HALF CREW (18 YOUTH/ADULT PARTICIPANTS AND 2 ADULT LEADERS EACH).
NOTE: March 27, 2025 - our Jamboree Committee is currently working on putting the full experience together. They have decided we will fly directly to the Jamboree and bus in with no additional activities added on. Pricing is still being determined for the contingent's travel fees. We will begin collecting the Jamboree fees and then will add in the travel fees once they are determined. The cost to attend the National Jamboree on its own is $1560 per person. Travel must be done as a group - individual travel for the contingent is not permitted.
NOTE: October 29, 2025 - price is set at 2400 for the total. The payment plan is being updated below to reflect the new total and the new plan for payments.
Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. If your slot is able to be filled with another participant from the waitlist once the unit is full, your payments are fully refundable. If your slot is not able to be filled, the deposit and any fees paid on your behalf to the Jamboree or the Tour and Travel Company are non-refundable.
Payment Plan: (Please stick to this plan as closely as possible unless you are paying ahead - the schedule is set by the payments we are required to make on your behalf. If you miss a payment or fall behind, please notify us at jamboree@alamoareascouting.org).
Initial Deposit at Registrations: $100
1 Jul 2025 $300 - Total paid with deposit $400
1 Sep 2025: $300 - Total paid $700
28 October 2025: Bus Deposit paid.
1 Nov 2025: $300 - Total paid $1000 (First payment made to National for Jamboree Fees)
31 Dec 2025 - (Second payment made to National for Jamboree Fees)
1 Jan 2026: $400 - Total paid $1400
1 Mar 2026: $400 - Total paid $1800
1 May 2026: $400 - Total paid $2000
1 July 2026: $400 - Total paid $2400 - paid in full
Making Additional Payments:
1. Log into your MyCouncil Account
2. Click on Order History
3. Locate the National Jamboree order (you may need to scroll forward to 2026)
4. Select the Jamboree Registration order that shows a balance due.
5. Click on the "Make a Payment" button.
6. Enter the amount you want to pay in the box and then select "continue" (make sure not to click "pay all" unless you want to pay the remaining balance due)
7. Follow the prompts to enter your payment method and complete the payment.
